well without proof, you have no chance of sueing, ive certinly never seen anything that wouls suggest a radio, except a few very early guesses from people who didnt really know.

Sorry guy

well i think that clears up what 'radio' ment

Where I bought my C500 from the label said "FM Radio" but it was crossed out in thick black marker. Maybe some shops have the same labels but didn't cross it out?

I also noticed this on the day they launched the c500. I pointed out to the guy in the shop that I had been waiting ages for the c500 to come out and had done some extensive reading on the specs online, and nowhere before had there been any mention of an FM radio. He then proceeded to go through the entire menu of the phone to make sure it didn't, and said he would make sure that he let the people in charge know that there was an error on the post. Obviously not all of the shops care to cross out the FM radio bit.

It would be a really useful feature to put in though. One of my friends had an FM radio wired handsfree kit that looked pretty interesting for his mpx200. I think this is it here: Moto FM Headset

I wonder if it works with the c500. I must do some digging...

On another note...the c500 does support Internet radio stations, but you would obviously have to use a passthrough connection or be very fond of wasting your money on gprs to use it. :)

The 3 stores in Glasgow I've been to are still displaying the C500 as having a FM Radio. I even argued with a rep about it but he refused to believe that the radio didn't exist, despite holding the phone in his hand.

Duh.

Ahah - I knew I saw that there was a radio on the c500 somewhere, the Orange Shop at Durham also displays one of the selling points as it having an FM radio - nevermind :)

wow, usual shop monkeys then, how come most people here know more about thier products than they do?

Because if you take the time to sign up to a forum all about the phone you use or want to use you will more than likely learn more about the phone than the shop assistant. :)

I will be testing out the Motorola FM100 headset with the c500 this weekend. If it works I will be sure to let you know.

There are a few like me who are students and are quite interested in the upto date technology!

Come into my shop and I would give you the facts!

I will concede tho not all of my collegues are quite up to scratch!
