Guest Montana Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 I have downloaded a couple songs from napster hoping to play them on my MPX200, it wont let me play them saying that i dont have a license for that song. So i made a copy of the license and it still wont work on my phone any one else have the same problem?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 I've not had a problem with wma but I have not tried music from napster.
Guest adc124 Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 I have the Orange SPV E200 and I'm having the same problem. If you view the properties of the wma files and select the "license" tab, my files say "Copy to portable player not allowed". I am currently using the free 7 day trial of napster, could it be that the license of files is different (i.e. you can copy the files to a portable device) if you are subscribed to the full service?? If this is not the case could someone explain what is the point of paying to download music that you can only play on your pc??!!
Guest adc124 Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 Hmmm, think i've found the solution! You can copy music from napster to your mobile device from windows media player if you have purchased the tracks! :)
Guest martin Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 I reading an article on Smartphonethoughts HERE which I think is what you are talking about. Affects PocketPc's too :?
