What are the must have software Extras that people need for their C500

That depends on what you use your phone for.

Personally I use:

- eWallet Pro (although the Sync doesn't seem to work properly with the C500)

- Oxios ToDo

- SmartphoneNotes

- Orneta Notepad 2003 (freeware)

- Mapopolis (really good route planner with GPS support)

- Orneta FTP (freeware)

- PHM Registry editor (freeware)

- Sprite Backup (does work with the C500)

- All-Locations GPRS traffic counter

Without knowing what the phone comes with my first two apps

I install every time is Task Manager and Smart Explorer from

The phone comes with a functional task manager and file explorer.

The taskmanager from binarys is still useful for formatting the sd card, and the apps from binarys do have a few more features.

for my e100 essential apps installed straight away were:

-binarys smartexplorer (i still cannot understand why there was no file manager in ROM)

-binarys taskmanager

-xbar

-imeter

-IA album

-and then a CAB containing all my shortcuts to apps installed on the SD card and a few registry settings

with my new C500 it is:

-binarys smartexplorer and taskmanager (much better than the preinstalled apps, due to proper IR/BT send/recieve and zip file support)

-xbar2

-All-Locations GPRS traffic counter (shame imeter doesn't work in WM2003, i liked it much more *sniff* )

and than lots of little utilities (the extra 20MB of internal storage makes such a huge difference! :) )
