SPV C500 v. MPx220 - HELP!

I have just received my SPV C500. I’d been debating between the C500 & MPx220 for months, ever since the first rumour posts came out. I finally decided on the C500 after reading a review on msmobiles which stated that C500 will be much faster than the MPx220. However on Howardforums I’ve now read the contrary, that the MPx220 will be the faster smartphone

I’ve got 7 days to decide whether I want to keep my C500 or return it and wait for the release of the MPx220.

It is a difficult choice to make and I would really appreciate your opinions as to which you think will be the better phone.

I like the C500 as it is smaller phone, with a larger screen and sounds like it will have a longer battery life.

However, in regards to the MPx220, I prefer the clamshell design that will protect the screen, the megapixel camera with flash and the voice command function.

Arrggghhhhh! Decisions decisions! Please help!

The C500 is a very good phone! I have had one for a few days also and would not give it up for an MPX220.

I have had an oridinal SPV, an E100 an XDA 2 and a C500. So you see that there is no problem with size for me. I think that it really only comes down to whether or not you prefer candy bar or clamshell form factor.

I am not the greatest of clamshell fans. And the 220 has not swung me. I should imagine that the speed difference is very minimal hence the confusion.

My XDA 2 is very fast and powerful but BIG, in the end i just wanted something small and practical. Good luck with your decision but remember you already have the fastest, smallest, lightest smartphone available today!

Is there any news on how the MPX100 will compare to the C500? also when does the mpx100 come out?

mpx100 has been withdrawn. We may see it in another form, but it will not be released as we know it

Damn if you can wait, get the 8020 if your a player or maybe the HTC Vividia ! ?

Otherwise get the C500
