Now i've had my C500 for a while I've noticed a few things I miss. One of them is Sound Manager. AT first when I had it on the old phone i thought that it was a waste of time, but when my wife got a nokia 6230 i noticed it liked AMR files, and suprise suprise sound manager recorded AMR files. To her delight I changed here ringtone to me saying "pick up the phone baby, it's me" (sad I know). I'm distraught because my C500 doesn't have it and my wife no longer giggles when her phone rings.

Oh well.

Any ideas of trying to take it off the old phone and installing on the new one.

It can be done. But as far as im aware you will have to convert the file. There is a jingle on one of my DVDs that i love and always use as my text message alert. anyway, i firstly record the sound in voice notes on the phone. then sync the phone to the pc and put the file on the pc. then open sound recorder on the pc and play the file. then save as, and choose a different file format. i think i used a low quality mp3. It sounds rubbish on the pc but fine on the phone. All you have to do then is drop the file back into the phone and choose it as your tone. I think thats all i did, if you want me to fill in any blanks please just ask :-) Posted from my SmartPhone!
