Guest buzzarn Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 When I use the link on Orange favourites to "MSN Mobile" and then sign in, I do not get any proper content - only a link to sign out and "My MSN". If I click on My MSN, it just refreshes the page. On my E200, I used to be able to read my Hotmail e-mails no problem. Has anybody else come access this??
Guest ka_boum Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I have a similar problem. I can acess MSN Mobile, but when I try to go to Hotmail, it takes a lot of time to get to an "Untitled" page (which is empty). Since the very first day. The sales man at the Orange shop (I live in Switzerland) said he could not access hotmail either. Bug, bad installation at Orange, Network problem, internet site problem ....? These phones are just too unstable. :x
Guest buzzarn Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I can't get into any MSN Mobile services and was told be Orange that this may be down to my EMEI number not being recognised by MSN?? They are looking into it, but haven't got back to me yet. The even stranger thing is that when I do try and get in, it doesn't let me in, but gives me an 'OK' link. I click on this and it takes me to a T-mobile internet page!!!! A little strange as I am on Orange.

When you are stuck on the sign out/my msn page, disable cookies using Menu-Options-General and then click the MSN logo. This will take you back to the MSN main page. Re-activate cookies and select MSN hotmail again. It will take you straight back into your E-mail account :)
Guest ste_lin Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I have no problem reading my hotmail emails on my C500. This is how I do it:- Ignore the pre-programmed shortcut in the favourites list and just type www.hotmail.com into the address bar. Fill in the fields for email address and password, click on the auto log-in box and then access you hotmail this way. The page re-sizes for smartphone viewing. Save the address www.hotmail.com as a favourite and it will log you into your account each time. Easy
Guest buzzarn Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I've tried every combination and still can't get it to go in. I've done as you say, but even though I've turned cookies back on, it says that cookies are off!!! When it eventually realises that cookies are on, it tells me I'm not authorised. Hopefully Orange know about this and are in the process of correcting. I am due a call back, but the call was due yesterday, so I hope they haven't forgotten me!
Guest sjalloq Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 I'm having the exact same problem. I've tried disabling cookies, I've even wiped all the cookies and still nothing. It was working perfectly yesterday and has just stopped this morning. I haven't changed anything so I have no idea what's wrong. Hopefully someone will have an answer. SJ.
Guest Confucious Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 The only problem I have with MSN Mobile is that linkls in emails are not selectable. If I go through www.hotmail.com will they be? I have not tried yet but will later, my one concern is the amount of data involved, does anyone know if mobile.msn.com is less data intensive?
