Guest coolrich Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 Hi guys, I really do need to know the easyest way to get the front facia off as i herd it is just clips. Cheers for the help Richard
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 It is just clipped on :) You need to remove the storage card the with a blunt knifeblade you prise the case apart at the cart slot. When you have it lifted then work your way around both sides finishing at the top by the IR sensor. As long as you take your time and are careful you should not damge your case.
Guest coolrich Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 i started to get it of but got a little stuck and didnt want to progress in case of a breakage. However my buttons don't seen to be hard to press. Cheers
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Once you start you can even use your finger nail to finish it off, as I said take your time and it can be done. Just curiious but why do you want to take the case apart and what do you mean by your buttons do not seem to be hard to press? :?
Guest coolrich Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 ahh i dont think my buttons are connecting with the main board as i have to push them up to use them so my dad thought he would have a look
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Is this on all the buttons or just one ot two? as the they can wear and cause problems.
Guest coolrich Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 the buttons on concern (e100) are the top left button under the screen u have to push it up then press it and it will work, The number 5 you have to do the same, and the hash you have to apply an awful lot of presure to make it work Cheers  Richard
Guest coolrich Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 So what do you think it is worn buttons? Cheers
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 It is possible but there is no harm in taking the case apart, just be careful :)
