- HELP! - i think my phone is dead

i need help.

i cant do any upgrades or downgrades with my ROM.. i dont think i have any ROM installed anymore.

all i get whenever i turn on my phone is the canary mode. Bootloader says 1.04

all ROM upgrades say that there's a connection error.

ive tried the ff ROMs:

SAP 1.6.0.08

SAP 1.37

Qtek 1.50.9.1

iMate 1.50.8.6

the previous ROM i had was a SAP 1.5.0.28

As long as you can get to the canary screen you can revive your phone :)

To play safe it's better to use updates designed for your phone by your network ie SMART.

If you are getting errors try the updates on another PC

otherwise make sure your firewall etc is tuned off on your PC

before running the updates again.

have you tried Mar's Procedure,try to do a search for this thread or you have to first downgrade your bootloader to ver .98 or lower to be able to install another ROM. last option would be to bring it to brightpoint, half hour lang yan and free if your still under warranty and P440 if out of warranty, ang problema they will install the 1.8ver na rom which would make it harder for you to downgrade your rom. goodluck. :-)
