Do smartphones stabilise?

Hi

I have been thinking of buying an i-mate SP3 but looking at the bug list thread has made me a bit wary.

My question to all you experienced smartphoners out there is,

-- do these devices ever actually become stable? --

I don't mind installing one or two new versions of firmware but I don't want to be having to patch my phone every week like I do my PC.

I'd love to hear the opinions of some owners of previous SPV versions.

Other than the dust problem, I haven't encountered any problems with the C500 in the 8 days I've had it.

There are bugs but I think if you look at them, other than the game problems (joystick design, no simultaneous press, GAPI problem) none of them are serious. I haven't encountered anything I would say was a problem since I have had it.
