Sticky power button/possible dust cure?

My power button sticks, which is a total pain in the arse, since you need to half-press it to lock the keypad.

So whenever i try to lock the keypad, my phone just turns off.

I've put some vaseline on the button to try to free it it up, which seems to work, it's just a pain that it doesn't work properly.

I've also got dust on my screen, do you think a bit of vaseline on the volume/camera buttons might stop dust getting in?

I'de send the phone back if it has a sticky power button. That DOES affect the operation of the phone so must be replaced.

I agree, but in the mean time don't forget that holding the red phone key down locks the keypad too.

How come we can miss such simple things like holding down the red button???? :roll:

Is it in the manual? I didn't see it?

Dunno, it was the same for my mk1 SPV, so I just tried it and it worked!
