Newbee with a classic spv and some problems!

Hi, i got me a classic spv from ebay a few days ago and have a couple of problems:

1) software unlock - I've tried doing the software unlock at the orange developers site but it hasn't done anything, so phone is still locked:(

2)Active sync - my phone didn't come with the cd so i had to dl activsync of the microsoft website. When i try to sync my inbox it tells me attention is required so i click the resolve items link and a message comes up saying "items of one or more information types cannot be syncronized. Please disconnect then reconnect your device." So i try that and it still doesn't help.

As you have bought the phone second hand I would do a Hard Reset to wipe the phone and give you a clean device for you

to have fun with.

This will help with your sync problem in Outlook.

As for application unlocking do you get the message that your phone will be unlocked and to wait for the message to appear on the phone?

Also with unlocking do you have GPRS enabled on your account? if not you will need to use Passthrough and rely on your computers internet connection to unlock your phone.

hi, I did a hard reset and that sorted the sync problem, and i found the big thread on decert problems, and now thats sorted too :)
