Guest daffy Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 some pics by mpx220DSC_00012.jpgDSC_00011.jpg
Guest haso0on Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 its still blurry.... but how did u get these pictures..do u have an MPx220 ?
Guest Anonymous Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 They've dissapeared, can't see them.
Guest McHale Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 I'm not sure if the pics are blurry because of the phone or because of the person taking it. Whenever I take a pic with a camera phone, 1/2 the time they are blurry because I can't keep my hand/arm steady. Without having one to test myself, it's at least something to consider... -Mc
Guest daffy Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 do u have an MPx220 ? yes...it's a prerelease AT&T Wireless branded

Guest McHale Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 I dunno. Shaky hands can turn the best camera into a real blurry pic. I'm famous for it! I used a friend's LG L1200 which has a pretty decent camera and 1/2 the time, my pics would look like Stevie Wonder took them. However, I haven't seen a single pic taken with the MPx220 that was clear though. You may be completely right... -Mc
Guest Helix Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 Thoose pictures have bad purple fringing, nothing to do his hand shaking.
Guest moviecut Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 it seems to me, that this is a vga-cam interpolating the resolution to 1,2MP...
Guest meatgrinder Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 i would agree with you moviecut - it is not a "true" 1.23mp camera. and i can take pics with my c500 with movement, and they dont blur anything like the steadiest piccies i've taken with my old e200. Dave
Guest Helix Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 Is'nt the whole idea of VGA is it's resolution is 640x480. I thought SVGA was 1024x768.
Guest haso0on Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 the K700i has the extended resolution of 1024x768
Guest haso0on Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 @daffy try to take pictures with a lower resolution
Guest daffy Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 macro and the same pic at 640x480 and 1280x960DSC_00010.jpgDSC_00009.jpgDSC_00007.jpg
Guest haso0on Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 thanks man for the pictures i guess motorola wasnt able to fix the problem yet....
Guest AvWijk Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 A bit resized and polished up, the result is reasonable! :) pic.jpg
Guest McHale Posted September 5, 2004 Report Posted September 5, 2004 not bad, but compared to the C500, well... there is no comparison. The C500 is MUCH better. :) I do plan on taking lots of pics with my phone so all things being equal, this could be a deal changer... -Mc
Guest AvWijk Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 In fact, I have to tell people all the time that its still to EARLY to compare :) I saw the Sendo X in its early days the camera quality was also like s***..
Guest haso0on Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 the phone is SUPPOSED to come out in 2 weeks time!
Guest McHale Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Howard did a review on Haward Forums (a VERY biased forum by the way). He must have had a very early ROM. The pics in his review taken by the camera are much worse than the pics in this thread (strange colors on the borders). In fact, I went and compared the quality of the pics in this thread to the pics in the C500 REVIEW thread and the MPx220 pics are every bit as good. I'm buying the MPx220 for sure now. The pics are every bit as good if not better than the C500... -Mc

They're worse then the C500 pics I've seen without doubt. What's everyone else think?
Guest McHale Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 nope... Reread my statement. The pics taken in this thread compared to the pics in the C500 review thread (which is a sticky) *ONLY*. Seriously, open both threads in seperate windows and go back and forth. The pics taken in that thread are as equally blurry and the color isn't that great. Outside pics always look better than inside pics. I really don't see any quality difference. Also, I was torn between the two phones until I got caught up on the C500 Bugs List thread. If it weren't for the MPx PPC phone coming out, there would be no doubt at all which phone to get (for me).
Guest Pondrew Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Fair enough then. Must say that I doubt I'll be getting the C500 when it comes to my upgrade at the end of november. I'm hoping for the HTC Feeler on another service provider as Orange has no signal where I am....
Guest McHale Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 you're probably luckier than I am. I have NO signal where I am (and that includes every TDMA, GSM, Analog, and CDMA provider in the US). Until I leave my town I can't use my phone. :) -Mc
