spv unlocking is it possible?

hi i have got an spv first one and when my contract finished i want to unlock it and am not sure if it is even possible to do so. Please could u let me know on this matter much will be appreciated cheers.

click on the works >sim unlock <

if you have updated your spv with the most recent rom update you need to use sim unlock v2

I have never got any updates for my phone from when it first came out. So shgould i still use simunlock2. If so how does it work. Easy step guide. Connect looked phone to cradle turn computer on then what?

the file you need is attached

Start phone in bootloader by holding pover and record button

On the pc use task manager to stop the app called WECSCOMM.EXE

put phone in cradle

run the attached file

after you get code restart phone by removing battery

enter a different sim, you will be promtped for code

i noticed u said enter a different sim. Can i just start of with any pay as u go sim. Also whats task manager?

With Windows XP pres Ctrl,Alt,Del and it will start up Task Manager on your PC.

As for SIMS it has to be from a different network to what your

contract is on, ie non orange.

After you have successfully ulocked your phone run the rom update found HERE

This will improve your spv;s performance :)
