E200 - Email problems...any ideas ?

I have set up my e-mail using the SMTP details (Pop3) from my hosting company and included outgoing mail authentication. When I connect (using "The Internet") all I get is "Connecting" and nothing else happens.

Has anyone else experienced these problems or have any ideas ??

I have the same problem. The comments after your original appeal for help make me think I am making a basic mistake or misunderstanding the capabilities of the handset.

I have a yahoo account that I want to access. I thought I could set my xphone up to automatically connect to GPRS and download my yahoo mail. However, the handset goes through all the motions of connecting, but doesn't. I get an error message saying 'unable to connect to the incoming mail server'. I am using pop.mail.yahoo.com as my incoming mail server and my local network operator's outgoing mail server (stmp.mail....).

Any suggestions? Cheers!
