Have hunted thru the registry but can't find how to turn them on.

Was HKCU control panel poweronwave in 2003 but can't find that key on C500.

Sorry, I didn't find your thread til after I posted too

The key seems to (not) be HKCUControlPanelSoundsSystemStart

But that doesn't seem to do it.
