Guest shaund316 Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 when u buy an upgrade, does the new contract have to be of an equal price to the old one? Because my current contract is available at £15pm on the online offer instead of £27. cheers
Guest sponge Posted August 29, 2004 Report Posted August 29, 2004 I don't think OCS (i.e. over the phone) will allow you to benefit from an online tariff with an upgrade. Whereas you should be able to find a shop that will match the tariff with a new contract, which is what I have just done. I called OCS the day after getting my new phone to confirm I was indeed getting charged £15 pm and not £25. He initially said it was £25 pm, but when I queried this he then spotted a note on the file reporting a £10 discount. It's something I will have to keep an eye on. If they do try and charge me £25 I will not be happy and will return the phone if they don't honour our contract.
