Reception indoors

My dorm is covered by a copper roof... take a guess what happens to reception.

Anyway the moment I step outside it's perfect so I wanted to grab an external antenna to hang out the window to make it all better.

I found this but not sure which connector would be compatible with the 8380... any ideas?
