SD card stops working

hello all! my sd card stops responding some times when i try to open a program. i think it goes to sleep! i've to take it out and put it back in to run the program. It gives an error saying libraries of this program not found. i assume it coudnt locate the SD card.

im thinkin of storing the ringtones on my sd card now.... just curious whether this sleeping problem will have any effect on my incoming calls?

Also, a while before i read a thread on a tool that constantly polls the SD card? i did a search and nothing found! can someone point that thread to me pls!!

What handset have you got, SPV E200?, If so, the SD Card going to sleep is a well known problem :P

I think if the phone can't find the ringtone you set then it resorts to the default "ring"...

no i have qtek 7070 (e100). is it also normal with qtek 7070? i have the latest imate rom. does the rom has anythin to do with it?! thanks for the reply vector

When this happens check the battery level on your phone.

If the battery gets too low the phone will stop talking to the card

to try and save power.
