The next transport time is presented on your home screen. Just edit a .csv file with your own timetables. Apparently work is under way for support for setting alarms.

Clever, but how does it work, let's say I take the train from Wembley Stadium to Marylebone in the morning, and the train from Marylebone back to Wembley Stadium at night, does it give me the times for the single journey, or the return journey? Or both? How does it know where you are? Or am I complicating things now? :-)
