C500 and Fire Power EX

Freezes on the "regiester" (sic) page - well to be more exact, if you try to move the cursor to select numbers for the registration code nothing happens... until the screen goes blank, at which point the cursor moves (when you can't see it - maybe it is shy). Anyone else seen this? Anyone have a fix?
