hey how do u get the e mail back on the homescreen please help thanks in advance

Start->Inbox->Menu->0 Accounts/Folders->2 ActiveSync->Folders...

I think you need to use a homescreen that has the email displayed on the screen... That is what I'm using now...

Yep it's all down to homescreen plugins.

Have a look in the wide selection in the Customisation Homescreen section.

for the homescreen, you'll need to edit the XML. Replace your SMS section with the following:
