ClearType on C500

After playing with all the download CAB files and settings it seems that it is not possible to enable ClearType on the C500 for anything other than Internet Explorer (which looks much better).

Is this a bug, or is it just that no one has yet found the registry setting needed to enable this.

If anyone does find out, please post to this forum.

i used http://www.customcabbage.co.uk to enable cleartype on my C500, worked fine...

You can also use the Shell Orange app - worked for me (although I prefer ClearType off).

Yup, no problem using CustomCabbage to enable ClearType

after many attempts, www.customcabbage.co.uk did the trick.

I had to copy the cab file using "copy" "paste" in windows explorer into the temp directory on the phone and run it using the phones file manager.

All OK now.
