Guest snowgoon Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 Just tried to set a speed dial for an app (BT Toggler) the phone tells me that I can't have 0 as it's reserved. For what? I can't find any info about it - anyone got any ideas?
Guest badboy4life Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 Its reserved for the '+' symbol used as in +44
Guest snowgoon Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 Er.... I get that the 0 key also doubles + but WHY is it reserved? For what? All the other keys have dual functions but they aren't reserved... Am I being thick?
Guest midnight Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 like badboy4life said, press 0 once and you get '0', hold it you get '+', so its obvously reserved for the '+' sign speed dial is activated by pressing and holding the key, so if pressing and holding 0 gives + then how could it be used for a speed dial?
Guest snowgoon Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 I was being thick. Cheers guys.
Guest fozzie Posted September 1, 2004 Report Posted September 1, 2004 Not forgetting that '1' is also a reserved speed dial - for voicemail :)
