C500 with fm radio??

As seen on msmobiles.com - Orange in France is releasing a C500 with radio - at least according to their website..

Now - if that is true i will be surprised.. And if it is not true it is somewhat of a screw up.

Probably wrong, as we were misinformed when the C500 pics were first shown that it had FM Radio... :)

Its a screw up. The Link has the C500 in their brochures stating that it has an FM Radio. It doesnt. :roll:

:? Our local Orange shop has the C500 on the wall attached to the specs card etc. This also states that the phone has an FM Radio and is an MP3 Player. I saw this with my very own eyes when I upgraded just two days ago. The Orange magazine does not indicate a radio in the comparison chart. However the magazine says that the phone comes with a carry case. It doesn't.

I went into my local Orange shop on Saturday and their display C500 said it had an FM radio.

I know this isn't true, but you'd think someone from Orange would have noticed and changed it by now!

I'm an Orange France customer (may God have mercy...) and can confirm that although my C500 is a fantastic phone, there is no FM radio.

The Orange France and France Telecom websites have a bit of a history of 'wayward' advertising (I'm assuming it's a tendancy towards being inaccurate rather than anything underhanded) but I'll be sure to let you know if the next SPV is marketed as having a coffee/baguette dispenser ;-)
