Guest Disco Stu Posted September 4, 2004 Report Posted September 4, 2004 Welcome to the site mate :) Don't have a C500 myself, but to get you started... Ringtones - need to be .wav, .wma or MID0, 1 or 2 format. The simplest route is .wav. You rip your CD using Windows Media Player or better still dBpowerAMP and convert to .wav - the latter will do both. Then you use Windows Sound Recorder (in Programs, Accessories, Entertainment) to chop out the bit you want. Remember the ansaphone cuts in after 30 seconds. Save as PCM format. Connect phone to PC with ActiveSync and copy & paste them to My Smartphone Storage Application Data Sounds. The definitive guide is here : http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=90760 Films - depends on formats blah, but a good start is the freeware PocketTV (you need Classic edition rather than Enterprise edition). http://www.pockettv.com/ The site includes a guide to conversion etc That's enough for now
