Guest m4rcus Posted September 5, 2004 Report Posted September 5, 2004 I've just got my first Bluetooth headset - Nokia HD-3W. I'm not overall impressed with the in-call sound but there you go. My problem is as follows... - Press and hold the volume button and the voice command prompt is heard and I can dial someone via a command. - Have the keypad locked and you can't do Jack.... My problem is that I have the lock turned on after one minute to stop all those calls from my pocket :) So am I screwed if I'm driving in my car and dont want to touch my phone and make a call when the keypad lock is on? Cheers for any help.
Guest tedblight Posted September 5, 2004 Report Posted September 5, 2004 saddy its seems to be a bug. My car kit is the same. I really really really hope they address this in any updates.
Guest Stuart_M Posted September 6, 2004 Report Posted September 6, 2004 When I got my c500 last week and a Jabra BT250 headset, I thought this was a prob with the Jabra as it didnt seem to reliably connect even when unlocked. Changed it for a bluetek G2 (which works great btw even if it does fall out of my ear) but still no voice dial when locked, even though you can last number re-dial. Orange PTs say it is a design feature to stop you accidentaly calling!!!!. I think its a bit silly to have hands on to use hands free. Nokia never had this "Feature" wish it could be switched off.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted September 6, 2004 Report Posted September 6, 2004 Design feature? Yeah right! :) P
