ok just got me a whole nice new computer :-D

3gig Athlon 64

Asus K8N-E deluxe

Sapphire 9800 pro

2 80gig Maxtor diamond max plus9 in Raid 0 config

1024mb of Corsair RAM

its quite quick :-D

i just dont have ANY games to take it to the limit, any suggestions?

halflife 2 - 22nd september

doom 3 (controversial, i dont like it, but many others love it)

halflife 1 - for counterstrike :P every1 must play cs at least once...

if u like racing games, try and find "street legal racing:redline" :)

you should also check out "shellshock: Nam 67" nice vietnam based war game, the first few levels are ok, it picks up quite quickly tho :)

i got CS (and condition zero) but it hardly uses the computer.

I have this Asus cool and quiet thing on, alters the CPU speed and voltages according to stress, only runs at a gig when CS is running :-)

runs at 1200 when i use media player on the TV screen as well as CS.

i ran 3d mark 2001 SE and it got 18495 if that means anything to anyone.

hey meaty ill catch you on MSN one night and kick your arse on CS :-D

im after a system of this spec, can i ask where you got it and how much you paid? novatech have the best deals i have found so far... any other suggestions?

got all mine from overclockers.co.uk paid about 650 for the lot plus a DVD/RW drive.

Prices arnt toally the best but they had everything i wanted and do next day delivery for 8 quid. 8)
