M2500 Bluetooth Headset doesnt play media player!!!

I feel gutted, just bought the new plantronics M2500 headset, chareged it up and then paired it up, chose hands-free but no luck with media player. I must admit every other part of the headset is amazing, it's nice and light and the sound quality from both sides is excellent, but like a few of the bluetooth headsets that support handsfree, when you try and connect it to listen to media player it wants you to do a voice tag. I have tried inspectorgadgets way of connecting but it doesnt work with this headset. Hopefully I will be proved wrong but i have tried for over an hour and have now given up. Such a shame as I was looking forward to using it for that purpose.

Try starting Media Player playing something then press the button on the headset to hook it up.

I have done, still doesn't work. Has anyone else got it to work with this headset?

It also doesn't work with the M3000 headset, although I'm not too worried about this.

it's just dissapointing that it's the only bluetooth headset in the Modaco shop and handsfree doesn't work with the latest smartphone (C500) :)

Can we start to compile a list of which headsets do or dont work with media player ?

Do any "stereo" headsets work ?
