How to turn on keypad backlight???

My keypad backlight is on only during switching on the phone. Then is off, regardless of situation...

How to do turn it one when backlight is on?

hi there, u need to disable the light sensor

go to start, settings, power management

then select no on the light sensor enable

your keypad will work only in the dark or low lightin conditions if light sensor is enabled

hi.i've got a little problem with the light sensor.It is enabled but the backlight is always on,whatever the surrounding light is. :) any ideas how to fix it?thank's

access- if ure talking about the screen backlight, you have to change the timeout setting in power management in the settings menu

change timeout to 10 seconds (i feel thats best)

the light sensor is only for the keypad not the screen

the screen will always light up regardless

THOMAS - i think you have a bad rom installed, you should try to do a hard reset

TURN THE SPV C500 OFF

THEN

press the power button for like a second then hold the two soft keys together (to the left and right of the spv logo on the phone)

(once u see a black screen let go of the 2 softkeys)

The black screen will tell you to to press 0

this will hard reset your phone

wait a while, it will take 2-4mins for it to be reloaded

let me know if that fixed the prob in the power management

Thanks. Will hard reset delete everything installed? If so, I will not do it... It is work for 2 days to install and customise everyting again...

a hard reset will delete everything

however you can do a backup on orange

But anyway, it´s just sample for testing, so I will keep it as it is as it´s not major problem for me now. Thanks a lot!
