How do you set an easy reminder!!?!

Don't understand sorry.

Do you mean setting a reminder on the phone easily? Beep in 20mins to remind me to take beer out of the freezer?

I tend to use the alarm clock or the calendar for that.

ok. used to have a nokia before. was easy.

set reminder. date/time and detail of event/somthing to do.

ie. I've set my reminder for 9am for 7th sept - topic- take washing out of washer.

That's what the calendar does. Remember to set the reminder time though otherwise the phone won't beep. It will show it on the homescreen plugin though.

i know i sound an idiot but anychance of an idiots guide and how to set a basic reminder please :)

Open up calendar

Menu > New

Fill in subject (take washing out of washer)

Fill in start date (7th sept)

Start Time (9am)

End date (I assume 7th sept)

End Time (9:15am perhaps?)

Reminder (Choose from None, 1min [beep @ 8:59], 5min [beep @ 8:55], 10min, 15min, 30min, 1hr, 1day, 1week) - this is when the phone will beep at you. However, if you set the reminder to none the reminder will still be displayed on the homescreen - it will replace 'No up coming appointments' or just appear depending on your setup.

The other fields are outlook related - but feel free to fill them in.
