Cell phone needs

I have always been quite the gadget geek. It has recently come to my attention that I must have a Motorola MPX220. Now I know they are not out yet. I currently have T-mobile and plan to stick with them so I will need to buy an unlocked phone. What is the best way to go about getting one as quickly as they come out? Do I call the Cingular people every day? Do some places do a waiting list? Will Motorola send me one directly more quickly?

Your best bet if to scour ebay once they're out. Be warned though that there are plenty of scammers and thieves flogging on there. Moto are unlikely to send you one directly. You may end up having to take out a contract and paying it off to get the handset unlocked (that's how it works in the UK at least).
