pst files and Pocket Outlook

I'm considering getting an SPV C500. Looks like a neat phone. One big problem, I'm not familiar with the Smartphone Software: I'm particularly keen to be able to carry around my e-mail, which I currently do by way of an Outlook pst file on a usb dongle.

:?: Question: Can pocket outlook cope with pst files.

i.e. can I download my work e-mail to a pst, dump it on the 'mini-SD' (somehow...not sure my card reader deals with the mini version!) and then add that pst file to the Outlook profile on the C500?

If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate some advice.

thanks

Nah... U can use Microsoft Activesync software (free to download from MS site) to sync between Outlook on the PC and Pocket Outlook. It will also sync the contact, calendar and tasks entries. All this is of course stored on the phone.. but I think there is a registry hack to move the Pocket Outlook store to the Card, so that u dont run out of space on the phone.

Pocket Outlook doesnt support pst files (I think).

Thanks for the post Maverick. Looks like none of the Windows Mobile OS's have this capability. Crazy!

Looks like my laptop will be coming with me more often.
