Guest syrus Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 I've decided to start a thread in an attempt to resolve the dreaded no choice of destination for incoming bluetooth transfers. If anyone has any input, please post now! So far, I've determined that bluetooth transfers will only be saved if there's space on Smartphone/Storage. Ulitimately, what we'd like to do is choose where files get put, preferably your miniSD card right? I know I would as I don't/can't use the usb cable and or activesync as I run linux on my pc. Also, I think anyone would find it a handy feature. Anyway, I'm trying to find a registry setting. I think! I've had a quick look with not much luck, I found a few other interesting things, but they're a bit off topic. http://www.phm.lu/Products/Smartphone/RegEdit/ I've been using this to look for the key value, although the 'find' function tends to reset the phone, so it's taking a while. I'm pretty determined to sort it out! Sy.
Guest syrus Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Ah, dumped the reg, can now have a look for the key on my pc (probably a lot easier).
Guest Thurstan Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Good luck Syrus, let us know how it goes.
Guest syrus Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 If PHM reged wasn't so bad, this would be faster :/ Keeps resetting the phone on reg dumping...
Guest Phil Lee Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Try using the Registry Editor in Smartione It displays the phone's registry on your PC.
Guest syrus Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 I don't have windows, but I'll give this a go on my flatmate's, cheers!
Guest Dr Who Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Can you also see if there is a reason why there is a filesize limit on the data you transfer?
