Motorola mpx200 problem, boot up freeze

Ok guys, The battery for my mpx200 ran out this morning before i got home so i turned it off via the power button, when i got home i plugged it in to charge, left it for about an hour and when i went to turn it on it would'nt get past the hellomoto start screen with the flower, its just sticks there, only way to turn it off it is to remove the battery. Tried removing the SIM card, and replacing it then rebooting but it still won't go past the hellomoto screen.

Any suggestions welcome..

If it wont get past the startup screen then you probably need to do a hard reset of the phone.
