Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 If you take the phone apart you will invalidate your warranty so the only option is to contact Orange :?
Guest Saracen Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Or use a hoover like someone mentioned in the other [long] thread!
Guest diablous Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 how does one hoover the phone? orange told me to get stuffed, as it's a cosmetic fault, which there not willing to sort out, since the phone still works. ORANGE ARE (EDIT awarner language) as far as i'm concerned, and i'll be happy when this contract year is over, as i'll be leaving them. personally i'm thinking of taking it apart, how do i do that?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 Place a hoover againt the buttons around the phone to draw out the dust.
Guest Jasonkruys Posted September 20, 2004 Report Posted September 20, 2004 You could try reminding them it is not enirely cosmetic as the whole point of having a SMARTphone is to do smart things. Also remind them it is an Orange SPV, SPV standing for Sounds, PICTURES and VIDEO. Ask them how you are supposed to see the pictures and video with dust all over the screen, worked for me with my E100
