Guest gavboy Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 My battery (about 2 1/2 months old) had got to the point of dying after about 5 mins of calls on a full charge. I gave Orange a ring to complain and they straight away told me that they would send me a new battery. I was definitely expecting an argument. A nice surpise! 8-[ I know the battery life is not the best on the MPX200, and I'm not expecting a vast performance from the new one, but I'm guessing that by looking after the battery a bit (eg. not letting it drain completely), I should be able to get a couple of days light use out of a full charge.
Guest schmiew1 Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 You must be lucky then... Taken them a month to sort out a faulty SIM (phone says SIM FAILURE)..... but they wouldn't have it, so had to go to techinal support..... Then they tried to tell me I needed a new handset but because they was no insurance on it they would have to charge £100 to send it out.... after arguing with them for about 10 mins and explained that no matter what phone I put the sim in I got the same message.... Dooohhhh. Suppose I should be greatful for them refunding a months line rental ..... might look elsewhere next time... but sometimes better the devil you know....
