C500 length of phone ring time not long enough...

Apologies to the forum mods, i posted this on the main forum before finding out this was the dedicated message board for the c500.

Basically i am finding that my c500 only rings for around 20 seconds, and this is highly annoying as i am missing alot of calls. I have scoured the settings of the phone but cant find anything, and am not sure of this can actually be recified via the phone or if its a specific setting put in place byt the phone makers/service provider etc.

if anyone can help, would you please be as kind as to respond to this post.

Dunno if this works on a C500, but on my E200 you need to send Orange a service command.

Type the following into the keypad:

**61*+447973100123**30#

(Where the middle number is the voicemail number, and the '30' is the required delay - I think 30 might be the max before voicemail kicks in)

Then 'dial' the number.

Can't remember what happens next, but IIRC you get some sort of message that your command has been received.

Hi that command worked. Got a 30 second delay now :). tried 40 seconds but it said invalid parameters.

Btw. New here. Had C500 for 6 days now, had an E100 before that.

or you could turn off call fawarding in the phone sattings.
