If you are refering to downloaded apps or homescreens then you do not unzip them as they will be in .hme or .cab format.

Older pc versions of Windows ie 98 show .cab files as .zip

so it's a common mistake to unzip them.

Using Activsync explorer the phone and place the .cab or .hme

file in IPSM Windows Start Menu Accessories then on the

phone go to your Accessories folder and select and run the file

you have just placed there.

An XLM file is basically a text file wiritten in the XML language (you can open and edit them using Notepad on your PC.)

If it's a homescreen, it's name will be something like "name.home.xml", and it should go in you IPSM/Application Data/Home folder.

There should really be installation instructions along with it though, as there are probably other files (eg. images) that will go with it.
