HELP! - Default Home Screen Corrupted

I just tried out Oxios To Do List which can set itself as the first most recently used item on the homescreen.

It has corrupted the program list on my home screen with blank folders and other icons on there.

I have removed Oxios but the corrupted home screen remains!

How can I fix this without a hard reset (my desktop is boxed up as I am moving house!) can I replace the default homescreen file with an uncorrupted one - assuming I can find one?

Hi

have you tried rebooting the phone? (just powering off, then back on) as all the default homescreens are stored in the rom and are overwritten on boot up?

if that doesn't help you should still beable to get to the homescreen settings via start> settings> homescreen and beable to select a different homescreen

Sadly I had to do a hard reset as it had obviously messed up more than the home screen,

My advice - think twice before installing Oxios To Do List

Sorry, but that's grossly unfair.

I've used it before without any problems and plenty of others have too, judging by the number of homescreens that use the associated plugin.

Sounds like either you had a dodgy skin in use or you tried to install the wrong version of Oxios.
