Guest syrus Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 I havn't bothered really investigating this one, but does anyone know a quicker way of closing a task than going to the task manager? Can't I just close a task when I'm running it? Is this a stupid feature of all windows mobile devices? Cheers, Sy.
Guest stclive Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 well you can either do a speed dial or voice command speed dial is very easy to use in my spv c500 all i do when wantin to shut a program is click home key then hold down the number 2 key for like 2 seconds task manager appears then close what u want too add a speed dial on task manager first go through the menus, once u get to task manager (in accessories folder) click menu then add speed dial u can use any number you want i use n2 hope this helps a bit if u would rather use voice command let me know if u need any more details bye
Guest ferret Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Why bother closing them if you're not going to do something memory intensive. I beleive that the OS closes applications if it needs more memory. If you want to close them quick however, I'd recommend creating a speed dial to Free Memory (bundled with Binarys Task Manager) or use xBar then kill all.
Guest syrus Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 Hmm, I guess leaving them running doesn't really matter does it! Sy.
