Betaplayer Ver 0.90 and above.. Probs d/l.

Can someone please email me Betaplayer 0.90 or/and 0.91.

I am having a helluva time trying to download it. :oops:

Been to the sight and get the usual "If d/l does not start yada yada"

It won't start, just jumps to the next screen. Tried everything to get it incl disabling f/w. :twisted:

Anyhoo, If someone could email to [email protected] I would be very :wink: appreciative.

Wouldn't bother if I were you. I downloaded version 9 to my MPX200 and the phone became seriously slow. I uninstalled it and reinstalled version 4. Does the job very nicely.

I am using a C500. The later versions have been developed to solve some issues with the C500.

the admin told me the server had some problems, but the download should be fine now (at least if you can reach www.corecodec.org).

i had some speed problems too, but after turning the phone on/off the speed was normal. i did this only once (didn't think it was related to the player), but now i will try to reproduce and find the problem. could you try the install, phone on/off method?

It's a strange one. I can get the betaplayer website up no probs. When i try to d/l I get the usual this your download will start in X seconds otherwise click here. Either way all that happens is it goes the next screen without starting the d/l.

I am using AOL. Mibbes it's an issue with AOL's explorer?

i uploaded a backup copy of the latest unstable to www.exceed.hu/~picard/betaplayer but it seems the video freeze bug with c500 is not fully solved yet.

What settings are you using Picard?

I had this problem until I followed the setup posted here

It now runs sweetly! :)

i don't have a c500. just got reports of problems using GAPI with BetaPlayer (but in some cases it works)

ah yes, that is the one other setting I had to change (and I think made the most difference)

Options->Video->Video Driver->GDI

works a treat now.
