Does anyone know how to have Smartphone disable or preferrably just postpone vibrate notificaiton of meetings/SMS messages when in an existing call?

I have checked all the settings I can think of and it is really starting to 'P' me off getting a high vibration ear message durring a conversation.

TIA,

Dagwood

There isn't a function that changes the profile when on a call is there???

I do know what you mean with the buzzing in the ear whilst on a call.. Always baffles the person on the other end!! :? :? :? :?

You have to edit your profile in Settings before you have a call.

You only need to do it once for each profile you use.

I know that I can modify the default action, but I want it to vibrate for all actions UNTIL I am in a call. Then it should be do no action until the call is complete or maybe just a quick beep tone in the ear like call waiting.

Hmm.. Sounds like a 2005 feature request....

hahaha... I think what you are asking for is (for now!!!) impossible. I have looked through the phone and have not found a setting to do this.

However, when I am in a call, and another call comes in, I just get a 'beep'. That's all. No vibrate, no constant beeping...

no... The original poster refers to SMS and Appointment reminders not other calls coming in.... For example... you are on the phone and someone sends you a text message.. If your profile is set to vibrate, the phone buzzs in your ear with the SMS is recvd.

As far as I know, there is no way possible to turn off the Vibrate when on a call and turn back on the Vibrate when not on a call...

Not sure if the new phones do this on WM2003SE?
