E100 upgrade

Hi all

this is my first post and know nothing about these phones but plenty about other brands i am wanting to upgrade the firmware of this model and wondered a couple of things pls

where to get firmware

will it relock the handset to Orange (i think)

The latest UK update is available from Orange at

http://web.orange.co.uk/yourphone/e100/pro...E100_ROMupgrade

This is the 1.6 update and to check if you have this on the

phone go to ProgramsSettingsAbout

If the phone is SIM unlocked it will remain so but you will have to

application unlock which is a simple process and can be done at the

Orange developers site, click on OTA for more information.
