Guest durag Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 Any good software to backup my SPV e200? The only stuff I could find didn't support this phone. If you know please include something that backs up network settings and the whole 9. Also anyone know how to work the speakerphone on this? I select it before I make a call, while on a call, and nothing happens. I think it may be broken....
Guest chucky.egg Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 Sprite Backup should work on the e200, you can get it from Handango Don't know about speakerphone, but I'm sure there was a discussion going already, try a search for "speakerphone" and see what you get
Guest Disco Stu Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 No idea about the speakerphone either, but just confirming that Sprite Backup is essential for the E200 and works perfectly :) BTW Don't be put off by the price, you won't regret buying it if only for the peace of mind
Guest Killroy Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 Speakphone - while on the call - hold down the green key for 2-3 secs to turn it on and hld down agin for 2 - 3 secs to turn it off. killroy
Guest durag Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 Thanks killroy, worked fine! I had this phone for maybe three weeks and couldn't figure it out though I'm sure if I wouldn't have lost the manual, it would've helped. Also, on the Hadango website the Sprite software specifically said it does not support the E200. Everyone is confiring it is though? I will try later. Thanks everyone.
Guest Disco Stu Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 Handango says a lot of things that are rubbish. I have used Sprite to restore after hard reset and also to transfer from one E200 to another. No problems whatsoever :)
Guest martin Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 I think Handango assume the E200 to be application locked so it states that a lot of unsigned applications are incompatible  I often look at the QTEK 7070 section too as it may show more applications
Guest durag Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 Ok Cool, thanks for all the tips.
