Guest popstar7 Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 I was downloading Acrobat for Windows Moblie to my storage card but stupidly sent it to my IPSM. There's not enough space on the phone to take the application. Initially the phone crashed and now, having revived it I'm getting messages saying I need to clear space on the phone. Problem is I can't find anything in the IPSM folders that I can delete to save space. Will part of the Acrobat application be stored somewhere so that I get rid of it? Also under Task Manager there's still free space shown as available. Is it mis-reading the IPSM? Any suggestions welcome. On edit - The (IPSM) Flash Memory shows 7.5mb with 7.37mb in use. This is what I need to clear.
Guest martin Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 Check to see if it's in IPSMWindowsAppMgr
Guest Disco Stu Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 If it's a failed installation, the files get dumped in IPSMWindowsAppMgr Install, do they not ? Are you sure Acrobat is suitable for Smartphones ? Sounds like a Pocket PC app to me. If you've got a Smartphone 2002 device it won't run Windows Mobile software.
