MMSdriving me nuts Orange aint sorted it either..HELP

Ok guys...cant seem to get MMS to recieve..i send ok even to myself..but if anyone sends me an MMS all i get is a prompt asking me to use the menu and send recive to try and download it again...all settings checked by orange..seems ok as it sends..but it will not recive pics on return. The only additions ive made is to set up pop3 email...anyone got any clue or solution

Hm I had the same problem. MMS's would arrive but not download, telling me to check proxies or whatever and try sending/receiving again

I am honestly not quite sure what it was that made it work for me. I fiddled a bit with the account settings for Orange MMS. I have a Dutch phone, so my menu is in Dutch as well... anyway if you open up your MMS inbox, you could try going into the account options (Menu >> options >> "account settings" >> media-messages). Then check the Server settings (select Orange MMS, hit menu >> "edit connections", in the next screen, select Orange MMS and hit "edit").

I think I changed the gateway to the WAP 2.0-gateway, found it to be not working, changed it back to WAP 1.0-gateway, and then it suddenly worked :)

I'd say check your settings with the orange website. If you really can't get it to work, go to an orange shop and look really really angry. Take some orange paint with you. That should make em help you... the employees have a strange reaction to the color orange, see :lol:
