Guest Br1an_g Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 hi, ive searched the forum and tried the following: setting up a new MSN account changing password so it is text only checking and deleting proxy settings on phone. I can browse web pages fine. GPRS is fine just when i try to sign in it says service is temporarily unavailable. I get: Connecting Signing in. please sign out when done then the error message. any help appreciated...thnx in advance
Guest squiggs1982 Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Yup, having exactly the same problem. It's not a big deal, but slightly annoying. Can sign in fine from my PC and PocketPC. :? Hmm... exasparating!
Guest Br1an_g Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 i did a hard reset as my internet stopped working. internet back, still same with Messenger..bit anoying to say the least as it would be handy in work as its blocked through the corporate firewall..:)
Guest peekie Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 I sometimes get no connection as well ( also on the computer ) try using the free application agile messenger as this seems to work perfectly and was used the most during the e100 waiting to update the msn saga
Guest Br1an_g Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 if i install agile messenger can i then uninstall MSN as it wouldnt be needed?
Guest peekie Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 if you install agile messenger you can not uninstall msn messenger as its included on the rom ,only thing you can do is delete the shortcut in the menu but its not really worth it as agile messenger will be on the top of the 3rd menu to download the latest version go here http://www.agilemobile.com
Guest squiggs1982 Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 hello again, I sucessfully signed in tonight for the first time, but I had made sure that I was totally signed out on my PC. Normally this wouldn't be an issue because any time you sign in elsewhere it signsyou out on the original. Give that a try. I'm now a happy camper!
Guest Br1an_g Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 ive installed agile messenger which connects to MSN fine..still cant get on MSN...even with a new account
Guest Br1an_g Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 MSn is now working..cant say ive changed anything since installing Agile.. strange.. :?
