help. screen wrecked. (although i don't think you can)

2 weeks in, i have a massive crack down the middle of my screen

it was just in my pocket with some keys

is it a contract phone?

if so have you got orange care?

if you do they should replace it

if its a pay as you go

you are stuffed for the timebeing

ive not seen any1 open the c500 yet,

you can open the spv c500 with a T9 screwdriver, if u peel off the VOID sticker behind the battery

you then need to get a hold of a dummy c500 and strip that

and use that screen

im not sure if a dummy c500 is available at the moment or if it can be stripped

im sure the mods will know :)

and since technically it's cosmetic

i don't think oc would cover it anyway

Orange do an 'Emergency Phone Replacement'.

It's available for replacing phones that dont meet the terms and conditions of Orange Care, and for those who do not have Care.

Give Orange Customer Services a call. It'll cost you maybe minimum £50, and maybe maximum £80ish.

hello all. i don't really want to pay loads for it but that sounds like a plan if all else fails.

looks like if i can get a dummy phone i could swap the case, then :)

any idea of where i could get one?
