C500 speed dial

Just got a C500 but can't get the speed dial to work. It doesn't happen like the instructions say! Any one got over this?

Do you mean for contacts ?

First create your contact and then highlight it from the contacts menu, press down the action key (i.e press down on scroller). Select Menu-Add speed dial and give it a number.

You should now be able so speed dial :)

Yes, I'm starting with Contacts. Doing what I’m told gets only four options and none are “add speed dial” What I get from highlighting contact is: “Save to contacts, send text, delete, edit" What am I doing wrong?

Highlight the contact you want then click the Action button to

take you to the actual contact details then click Menu and option 1 is Add Speed Dial. This then takes you to the speed dial and voice tag settings for that number.

Just to make sure you are in the right menu. It should say 'Contacts' at the top of the screen and then when you highlight and click a contact it should change to 'Contact' at the top of the screen. It's in this menu that you get the speed dial option.

The store saved my old numbers to the sim but in this area it was impossible to add speed dialling.
