Contacts and Outlook

I have sync'd all my contacts and all is fine. If I have a problem with the contacts on my phone and want to copy all the contacts from Outlook back to the phone how do I do it?

Whenever I delete a contact from my phone asn resync it removes the contacts from Outlook so if there are none on my phone all will be deleted from outlook.

Is it possible to copy from Outlook to the phone without them being deleted?

...at a guess, delete the partnership with the phone/activesync then create a new partnership...you should be prompted to replace items in the phone with those in Outlook...

As I say, I am not sure on this - anyone else??
